‘Dream big’
…and that’s exactly what I did
I worked my behind off for 15 years in the brilliant world of Advertising. I loved the industry so much, I married my colleague!! Then I had our first beautiful daughter, and a tiny something shifted. I didn’t recognise it. I didn’t understand it. So naturally, I ignored it.
Fast forward five years and I was returning to the working world after our second daughter. Dream job, incredible agency, wonderful team - but a completely different Verity. After 7 months of stress nosebleeds, migraines, lots of tears and feelings of failure, it finally hit me. Ironically, while putting my girls to bed and telling them to ‘dream big’.
My dreams had changed. My goals had changed. The life I wanted to lead had changed. That tiny shift that started the day my eldest was born? It was fully there now.
So I quit. (With a FU fund, lots of emotional support and a wonderful husband by my side.)
And I guess what happened next was fate. The universe’s way of saying… your chapter 2 is coming. I posted on LinkedIn. Told the world I couldn’t handle the juggle and I was stepping away. A lot of you related. A LOT. It started with DMs. Little messages back and forth, giving my support and advice. Then phone calls. Then Zooms. Then I looked back at my old diaries, where every single entry about my dream life said the same thing: ‘Support women. Empower women.’
So there it was. Cue chapter 2.
My story
“The support and positivity during the sessions helps to set a good mantra and mindset for the rest of the week.” - Justine, Mum, Digital & Brand Marketing Manager
Before becoming a coach, I spent 15 years building a senior career in the brilliant world of advertising, progressing to Director level within leading global media agencies and working alongside some of the world’s most recognised brands.
I led high-performing teams, managed multi-million-pound client portfolios and was responsible for senior client relationships, strategic direction and business growth. I know what it takes to perform under pressure, make big decisions, lead people and navigate demanding, fast-moving environments - because I spent 15 years doing it.
But becoming a mother deepened that understanding. I experienced first-hand the identity shifts, self-doubt and feeling of losing parts of yourself that can come with such a huge life transition. My own journey of stepping away from a career I genuinely loved, questioning what I actually wanted and navigating the fear of starting again ultimately led me to coaching.
I’m now completing my training as a Transformational Coach with Animas, with training aligned to ICF Level 2 and recognised by the Association for Coaching (AC) and EMCC. I combine professional coaching training, evidence-based approaches, 15 years of senior leadership experience and real lived experience of major life and career change.
So this isn’t just coaching theory. It’s senior corporate experience, professional coaching training and lived experience - helping women cut through the noise, RECONNECT with what they actually want and LEVEL UP their mindset so they can make confident decisions and move forward.
Why me?
